Our unlikely heroine finds herself racing to cross the river Styx, with new friends that bear a striking resemblance to people from her earthly past. Reborn in a strange new world built by long forgotten deities, and filled with bizarre characters and very real dangers, Reddy undertakes a quest to find her previously dead sibling and unravel the mysteries all around her. She soon learns that the afterlife is broken, and all of creation is unraveling while the gods play chess with both the living and the dead. Mythology meets urban fantasy in a twisted afterlife where nothing is what it seems.
